Among Asians, rice is the most important food. Same as to Javanese people, it is considered not to have a meal if a person hasn't eat rice yet. It is also important part of identity that differentiate Javanese with foreigners. Rice is also symbol of development and prosperity.

Secondly, among Malaysian Javanese Bakso is a popular and delicious food you ever tasted. It is usually served in a bowl of beef broth, with yellow noodles, bihun, salted vegetables, tofu, eggs, etc.

Have you heard gado-gado? It is an Indonesian dish comprising a vegetable salad served with a peanut sauce dressing. Gado-gado is always served with some kind of crackers, usually tapioca trackers, or also with emping. Normally, it is served with rice or lontong.
